The construction of the Mecanum wheel enables omnidirectional manoeuvrability. Extremely precise vehicle movements can be realised in any direction, including diagonal, lateral and rotational movements on the spot.
•Wheel with a drive unit in a special design which allows a vehicle omnidirectional movements without having a mechanical steering
•Rotational direction and speed of each wheel is controlled individually
•Precise positioning of large and heavy loads
•Usually the vehicles are equipped with four wheels, applications with more than four wheels are possible
