  Anti Vibration Products

  AVM Diesel can supply anti vibration products for the marine and industrial applications as well in bridge construction, in road and rail vehicles, in electronics, indeed wherever noise and vibrations are generated. Our products used the latest up-to-date equipment in the manufacturing process from the Laboratory, Test and Experiment and Metrology to the Production equipment.

  Throughout the manufacturing process of the products, intermediate inspection and evaluation are carried to ensure that the highest quality is achieved. Therefore we are able to advise the customers on noise and vibration insulation problems and provide the right expertise for an optimum solutions to special and complex problems.

  Engine Cooling Pumps

  Gilkes/Gilmec self priming pumps have been specifically designed for marine application. They are robustly constructed and are suitable for engine cooling and most on board use including bilge pumping, deck wash down, fire fighting, fuel oil transfer, fresh water transfer and circulating duties for refrigeration and air cooling plant.

  Gear Motors

  A gear motor is a motor and a gearbox combined: the motor provides the power and the gearbox turns that into more strength, a slower controlled speed, and/or a change of direction. AVM Diesel supplies gear motors in Singapore for anything that has to move at a steady, controlled speed — conveyors, monorails, escalators, lifts, cranes, water pumps and air blowers. The main types sit below: helical, worm, bevel and shaft-mounted geared motors. We supply Bauer — a German gear-motor maker of around 100 years, one of the first to combine gear and motor in one unit.

  Wheels and Castors

  AVM Diesel supplies the full Räder-Vogel wheel and castor range in Singapore. The three families sit below: forklift wheels (load and drive wheels for lift trucks), industrial wheels (large, high-load wheels for conveyors, machinery and AGVs) and castors (swivel, fixed and braked units for trolleys and equipment). Räder-Vogel has been manufacturing wheels in Germany since 1946; AVM is their official Singapore distributor with technical support.   Electromagnetic Brakes

  An electromagnetic brake mounts behind the motor and works as a fail-safe: when power is lost, springs push the brake onto the shaft and lock it, so a load — such as an elevator car — cannot drop during a power cut; when the motor is powered, the brake releases. They are often used for emergency stops and holding loads safely. AVM supplies electromagnetic brakes in Singapore — tell us the motor and torque and we will match the brake.

  We offer genuine and replacement spare parts from a large selection of our longstanding quality suppliers. Our product portfolio is vast and we have a particular focus on DAF spare parts.

  Our focus is to ensure you receive the support required to keep your vehicles and engines running. We know a standing truck costs money. We have staff particularly skilled in transmission and engine spares as well as the general front to back components.

  We offer genuine spare parts at competitive prices but realise that economics demand that some clients require replacement spares. The option of quality OE, OEM or replacement items is therefore available where we have already verified the quality of the component.
